Tony Snethen


As an Executive Creative Director, Tony leads a diverse creative team to develop cross channel experiences that engages consumers while delivering on his clients' objectives. Given his 20 years in the industry developing, delivering and being recognized for great creative he is a players' coach as it relates to motivating and inspiring his team to deliver the best work possible. 
Tony's success comes from his ability to bring both a high level of inspirational and strategic thinking while being pragmatic in respect to user behavior and clients' business needs. Beyond driving towards award winning creative, Tony is a strong leader in business development, managing senior client relationships, and agency management relationships.  Tony joined VMLY&R in 2004 working on high profile clients such as Gatorade, Tropicana, Burger King, Colgate-Palmolive, Dicks Sporting Goods, the Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Brisk, Propel, and PepsiCo. During this time he has been a part of some of VMLY&R's most recognized and award winning work including One Show Awards, Epica, Clio, D&AD, Art Directors Club, Effie's and the Cannes Lions.  
A native to the Kansas City area, Tony is a graduate of Kansas State University and worked at eCollege in Denver, CO, as an Interactive Design Director prior to joining VMLY&R.
