Peggy McCann is a collaborative, strong and transparent account leader with a wealth of experience driving results across Retail and CPG. She is hands-on and believes passionately in invigorating teams to go beyond the brief and not only develop great ideas but make them happen.
Peggy presently leads Horizon’s retail-based practice, overseeing Brand Strategy and Integrated Communications Planning across retail, QSR/Casual Dining and CPG brands such as Burger King, Little Caesar’s, Lindt, Edible Arrangements and Snyder’s-Lance. With more than 20 years’ experience, Peggy also has experience across high-profile brands that include American Express, Johnson & Johnson, Nationwide Insurance, Kraft Foods, BASF, Lowe’s, Aldi Grocery and the Michigan Tourism Board.
Peggy and her teams’ work has won numerous awards including an Effie, three James Burke Awards (J&J’s highest Marketing recognition), a GLAAD award and an OMMA Award recognizing online advertising creativity.
Prior to Horizon, Peggy spent 12 years at Universal McCann; nine of those years were spent in the New York office, three years in their Detroit office. Prior to Universal McCann, Peggy has worked at Mindshare, Ogilvy & Mather, and Mediacom.
